Open to adults and teens 16 and older, current or new dancers
No experience necessary and all skill levels welcome
Dancers will learn the steps and figures to a variety of beginner and advanced beginner level ceili (group social) dances
$85 for one dancer, $150 for a couple
No drop-in rate
All 2024 BTID Summer classes run for 6 weeks from July 8 - August 21 at 417 Kenwood Ave
(no class July 29-August 2nd) and are only open to current dancers (ceili class exepted).
Performance team dancers must also be taking at least one other summer dance class (private lessons or ceili class included).
Level One Softshoe Drills
Mondays 5:00-5:30
For dancers ages 6-8 (entering K - 3rd grade) coming from Experienced Beginner, Beginner, or Advanced Beginner
Level Two Softshoe Drills
Mondays 5:30-6:15
For dancers ages 9-11 (entering 3rd-6th grade) coming from Advanced Beginner, Intermediate or Novice 1-2
Level Three Softshoe Drills
Mondays 6:15-7pm
All dancers ages 12 and up (entering 7th grade and above)
Advanced Hardshoe Trad Set
Mondays 8:30-9pm
We will be working on the hornpipe trad set The White Blanket. For dancers who have their beginner hornpipe and at least one hornpipe trad set (example, the Blackbird)
Summer Performance Team
Mondays 7-8:30pm
Open to all summer dancers Intermediate and up who plan to appear at any of our June-September shows. There will be extra June practices for early shows. Summer performance team dancers need a sleeveless leotard and poodle socks and will receive a *green skort
Also Available – Private Lessons scheduled individually and open to ALL levels from beginner through adult.
